Candace Quackenbos
|
Candace has spent more than 15 years developing strategic communications programs for clients and managing dynamic teams in the execution of results-oriented programs.
In the early 90’s Candace developed an expertise in working with companies in the Internet and new media marketplace while serving as marketing director at Internet advertising pioneer ModemMedia.
Later as a senior vice president at FitzGerald Communications, she parlayed that experience into providing strategic counsel to senior management teams of emerging Internet and software start-ups and launched many companies including CareerBuilder, Namestake.com, Atreve, Eprise, iconomy, ichat, InfoLibria, SmarterKids.com, MyWay, Natrificial, SMART Technologies and Eshare.
In addition to working with entrepreneurial companies, Candace has experience in helping established companies such as AT&T, MasterCard, Coors Brewing Company, iQVC and Absolut devise their Internet strategies and use strategic communications to support their plans. An example includes the launch of the New York Times on the Web in 1996.
Candace went on to create and package for FitzGerald some of the first communications programs designed to capitalize on this new medium, such as writing for the Web and using strategic communications to drive Web site traffic and influence user registration and downloads.
Her experience also includes preparing emerging company senior management for fund raising from the venture community and through private placement, and in repositioning established brands that have undergone management and product-focus changes by helping management articulate new strategy and providing guidance for entry into new industries and vertical markets.
