Last Wednesday, the V2 team had the pleasure of attending the PR Club’s 51st Bell Ringer Awards ceremony at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge.
In a special night of recognition for New England’s PR pros, the V2 team won big, receiving a Bronze award in the High-Tech Product/Service Publicity Campaigns category for our work positioning UiPath as the leading vendor in the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) — at a time when few people knew what RPA was. Despite a shortage of customer references and the initial lack of media interest in this new technology, our team was able to position UiPath not only as the top vendor in the space, but also the leading innovator and one of the fastest-growing enterprise tech companies ever. No small feat!
We also had the distinct pleasure of watching our fearless leader and V2 co-founder, Maura FitzGerald, receive the John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement award for her significant contributions to the communications industry. The award recognizes not only Maura’s career achievements—which span from her time as a journalist in Florida, to becoming the first female vice president at Cunningham Communications and founding the agency’s East Coast office, to her work in building her first agency, FitzGerald Communications, acquired by Omnicom, and subsequently Version 2.0 into highly successful organizations. The award also recognizes her commitment to mentorship and leadership in the New England PR industry. We are so proud to have Maura to inspire us and to celebrate her leadership and accomplishments.
While our biggest wins are those that we get for our clients, it’s a very special honor to be recognized by our industry peers. Learn more about the PR Club and the 2019 Bell Ringers here. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
