The Integrated Communications Leader is responsible for the growth and successful implementation of V2’s integrated communications service line. As a service line builder, this role is responsible for working with agency leadership to formalize and build V2’s integrated communications offerings. This role will work entrepreneurially to assess current agency capabilities, identify further areas for development, work with account teams to build agency knowledge and experience, and overall formalize and implement V2’s integrated capabilities for both current clients and prospects. This role will also work closely with our client account teams on both the strategy and execution of integrated programs, which complement and extend traditional, earned PR strategies across paid and owned channels through services that include content (long and short form writing, podcast production; native ads/sponsored and video), social (earned and paid across corporate and executive channels) and design (brief development, project management and oversight of creative partners).
Key integrated responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Raising agency IQ around integrated communications strategies and guiding their implementation to position and amplify stories across multiple owned, earned and paid channels as:
– The account lead for assigned integrated accounts/programs, including managing integrated strategy, account budgets, client satisfaction, team performance/execution and team resourcing needs
– A thought partner for other agency accounts and initiatives
– A subject matter expert for new business pitches
– Bringing a strong POV to the table through active participation in brainstorms, client and prospect recommendations and leadership discussions
– Identifying and pitching growth opportunities with account teams for existing clients
– Working with agency leadership to codify, price and sell integrated communications offerings
– Working with the leadership team in sourcing and securing net new integrated clients
– Managing account budgets, client satisfaction, team performance and team resourcing needs for V2’s integrated clients and programs

In addition to those responsibilities, this role will manage V2’s current and future integrated practitioners, including but not limited to social media and content writers, freelance and in-house designers, etc. As the integrated team grows, this person will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, managing and mentoring those new team members.
The Integrated Communications Leader will perform other duties as necessary.
This role is based in our Boston office and will be required to work in office at least twice a week, depending on client and team needs.
